Laboratory Equipment Suppliers in Coimbatore

Genevix Equipments is a laboratory equipment supplier based at Rathinam Techzone, Eachanari, Coimbatore. We supply analysers, microscopes, centrifuges, lab furniture and consumables to pathology labs, hospital labs, veterinary labs and college research labs across Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu. Every instrument we sell is installed, calibrated and serviced by our own engineers, and carries a 24 month warranty with six preventive maintenance visits included.

Most labs in Coimbatore can buy equipment easily enough. Getting it serviced quickly is the harder part, and it is the reason we started. If a haematology analyser goes down on a Monday morning, a lab does not want to be told an engineer will fly in from Chennai on Thursday. We are twenty minutes from most labs in the city, we hold spare parts here, and the people who install your machine are the same people who come back to fix it.

LABORATORY EQUIPMENT

What laboratory equipment do you supply?

We supply two tiers of equipment. The first tier is what we stock and service directly, named model by model. The second tier is what we source through our vendor network for labs that want one supplier handling the whole fit out.

01
DIRECT SUPPLY & SERVICE

Diagnostic analysers we stock and service

DH-615 6 part with RET AI correction, PLT-I and PLT-O channels High volume and anaemia work
i
Why the DP-H10 is different

The DP-H10 is worth a note because it solves a problem most labs have stopped complaining about only because they assume it is unavoidable. It runs on single test cartridges rather than reagent bottles. Cartridges keep at room temperature for 24 months, no blood or reagent passes through the machine, and there is no maintenance schedule. If you have ever thrown away half a bottle of reagent because the open bottle expiry arrived first, that is the pitch.

Biochemistry analysers

Four models spanning a benchtop unit for a clinic and a floor standing system for a hospital lab.

04 MODELS
Model Throughput Test items ISE module
MS200 15 minute test cycle, Android based 9 to 13 item profiles Not available
ProChek LP-100 Dry chemistry Panel based Not available

CM-1000 1000 tests per hour Up to 61 simultaneously Optional, 400 tests per hour
i
CM-800 coverage

The CM-800 covers liver function, renal function, lipid profile, glycometabolism including HbA1c, specific proteins and rheumatism markers, myocardial enzymes, pancreatitis, D-dimer, electrolytes and trace elements. If you report a profile, it is almost certainly on the menu.

Urine analysers

Four models from a single bench strip reader to an AI assisted system that images sediment.

04 MODELS
Model Parameters Throughput Memory
AimStrip Urine Analyzer 2 Strip based, CLIA waived One touch testing 2,000 results
URIT-560 15 including ACR 600 tests per hour 9,999 results
UC-58 18 including PCR, colour and turbidity 550 tests per hour 20,000 results
US-500 AI-Libre Dry chemistry with sediment imaging Dual channel Full field imaging
POINT OF CARE

HbA1c analysers

The A1c Go POCT uses boronate affinity chromatography on a cartridge system and returns a result in two minutes, fully automatic, with no reagent preparation. For a diabetic clinic that wants to counsel the patient in the same visit rather than call them back, this changes the consultation.

NEONATAL SCREENING

Bilirubin

The Erma B-111 bilirubin meter, and the L11C transcutaneous jaundice detector for non invasive neonatal screening.

Microscopes

Nine models, covering teaching labs through to industrial inspection.

09 MODELS
Series Type Typical use
Labomed Vision-2000 Laboratory microscope Routine pathology
TL24 series Biological Clinical and teaching labs
TL36 series Biological Research and clinical
XTL series and XTL-65 Zoom stereo Dissection, inspection, assembly
XTL-20 series Metallographic Materials and industrial
MZ45 Single cylinder zoom lens Stereo inspection
DM750 Video inspection microscope Documentation and imaging
DM750P Video, ergonomic design Long inspection sessions
BUYING GUIDE

If you are buying for a college lab, the practical question is usually how many students share one instrument and whether you need imaging for demonstrations. Tell us the class size and we will tell you where to spend and where not to.

Centrifuges and sample preparation

Remi C852 and C854 four-bucket centrifuges. Choosing between them comes down to your daily tube count and whether you need refrigeration for serum separation on samples that will sit before testing.

Patient side and point of care devices

ECG machines including the EKG-3A three channel, the EKG-6A six channel and the Neo ECG T180 tablet with AI assisted analysis. Aquarius vital signs monitors. Fingertip pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, infrared thermometers, glucose meters, nasal aspirators and WiFi ear endoscopes.

Laboratory furniture and storage

Work tables, table top counters, lab chairs, lab cabinets, document cabinets, lockers, pigeon holes and consumables racks. Unglamorous, and the thing most people forget to budget for until the analysers arrive and there is nowhere to put them.

02
VENDOR NETWORK

Sourced through our vendor network

For labs that want one supplier coordinating the whole fit out, we source the following alongside the equipment we stock directly:

01

Autoclaves and sterilisers, vertical, horizontal and table top

02

Laminar air flow cabinets, biosafety cabinets and fume hoods

03

Hot air ovens, incubators, water baths and dry block heaters

04

Laboratory refrigerators, deep freezers and blood bank refrigerators

05

Analytical and precision balances

06

Distillation units and water purification systems

07

Shakers, stirrers and vortex mixers

08

Histopathology equipment including microtomes and tissue processors

09

Laboratory glassware, plasticware and micropipettes

We will be straightforward about which of these we hold and which we bring in, and about the lead time on each, before you place the order.

BEYOND THE EQUIPMENT

What is included when you buy from Genevix?

Buying the instrument is only the beginning. Genevix supports the equipment through installation, training, maintenance, consumables and equipment exchange.

01
INSTALLATION

Installation by our own engineer.

We install the unit, calibrate it, run control samples to confirm it is reading correctly, and hand over the calibration documentation and the manual.

02
TRAINING

On site technician training.

We train your staff until they can run the instrument without supervision. That covers daily operation, cleaning, consumable changes and the errors they will actually encounter, not a walkthrough of the menu.

04
MAINTENANCE

Six free preventive maintenance visits.

6 VISITS

We schedule them. You do not have to call and ask. Most instrument problems begin as calibration drift or a consumable issue rather than a failure, and finding them on a scheduled visit is the difference between an adjustment and a lost reporting day.

05
SUPPLY

Reagents, strips and consumables from stock.

Reagents, controls, calibrators, urine strips, ECG thermal paper, electrodes, stains and glassware. Orders in Coimbatore are usually delivered the next working day.

Reagents Controls Calibrators Urine strips ECG paper Electrodes Stains Glassware
06
EXCHANGE

Equipment exchange.

We renovate and take in old equipment. Send photographs and the model number and we will tell you what it is worth against a new purchase before you commit to anything.

THE BUYING DECISION

Buying from a supplier versus buying from a marketplace

Most lab equipment in India is now sold through listing sites. That works for consumables. It works less well for an analyser you will run for eight years.

LABORATORY SETUP GUIDE

How much does it cost to set up a laboratory in Coimbatore?

The honest answer is that it depends on how many samples you expect to run a day, because that decides whether you buy semi automated or fully automated instruments, and that decision moves the total more than anything else.

What we can do is show you three real configurations with what goes into each. These are the setups we build most often here.

Prices move with the models you choose. Send us your expected daily test volume and the profiles you plan to report, and we will send back a costed equipment list rather than a brochure.

QUICK ANSWER

What does it cost to set up a small pathology lab in Coimbatore?

A collection centre with a three part haematology analyser, biochemistry analyser, urine analyser, centrifuge and microscope starts around ₹[X]. A standalone pathology lab reporting haematology, biochemistry and urine typically falls between ₹[X] and ₹[Y], depending on whether you choose semi automated or fully automated instruments.

Questions buyers ask

01 How long does laboratory equipment installation take?

A single instrument is usually installed, calibrated and running on the day it arrives. A complete lab setup takes [X] to [X] working days, because deliveries are sequenced so your electrical and plumbing work can be completed around them. You receive the schedule before dispatch.

02 Do you supply reagents and consumables in Coimbatore?

Yes, for every instrument we sell. That includes reagents, controls, calibrators, urine strips, ECG thermal paper, electrodes, stains, glassware and micropipettes. Orders within Coimbatore are usually delivered the next working day, and we will tell you the realistic cost per test before you buy.

03 Do you take old laboratory equipment in exchange?

Often yes. Equipment exchange and renovation are part of how we work. Send photographs and the model number of the unit you are replacing and we will tell you whether we can take it and what it is worth against a new purchase.

04 How many parameters should a urine analyser have?

For routine outpatient work a 10 or 11 parameter strip covers most reporting. Fourteen parameter strips add creatinine, microalbumin and the albumin to creatinine ratio, which matter if you screen for early kidney disease. The UC-58 goes to 18, adding protein to creatinine ratio, colour and turbidity.

05 What is the difference between a 3 part and a 5 part haematology analyser?

A three part analyser separates white cells into lymphocytes, monocytes and granulocytes. A five part analyser reports neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils and basophils separately. Three part suits collection centres and small labs and costs less per test. Five part suits hospital labs reporting a full differential.

06 Do you supply laboratory equipment outside Coimbatore?

Yes. We supply across Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Salem and Erode, and nationwide. Equipment is packed for transit, insured and shipped with a GST invoice. For most analysers an engineer travels to site for installation and technician training, and that cost is quoted upfront.

07 Can we see the equipment before buying?

Yes. For most analysers we bring the unit to your lab, run your own samples and let your technicians handle it before you commit. For larger systems we arrange a demonstration at an installed site nearby. Mention a demo in your enquiry and we will schedule it.

08 Do you supply laboratory software as well as equipment?

Yes. LabsGene is our laboratory information system, and it pulls results directly from the analyser so nothing is keyed by hand. If you already run an LIS or HIS we integrate with that instead, using FHIR based data exchange. Either way the equipment arrives configured to report into your system.
